Moreira de Sousa stressed the importance of strengthening public confidence in the justice system, describing it as essential to Albania’s future in the EU.

“Public confidence in the justice system is essential for Albania’s future in the EU,” she said in a post following the meeting.

The two officials also discussed the need for consistent implementation of judicial reform and a continued focus on EU accession priorities.

“We look forward to working together to support further progress,” Moreira de Sousa said.
