In a social media post, Moreira de Sousa highlighted the KLGJ’s key role in judicial governance and implementation of justice reform.

“The High Judicial Council has a key role in the governance of the judiciary and in implementing justice reform in Albania,” the ambassador said.

She said an independent and efficient judiciary was essential to building a more effective and accountable justice system that enjoys public trust.

“We will continue working with the High Judicial Council to consolidate the reform and strengthen citizens’ trust in justice,” EU Ambassador Moreira de Sousa said.
