TIRANA, June 4/ATA/ The Committee for National Security in the Assembly approved today the legal changes that pave the way for the payment of back wages for the employees and former employees of the Poliçan Mechanical Combine.

Deputy Minister of Defense Enkelejd Joti said to the Committee that 4 current employees and 127 former employees benefit from these legal changes. Also, Joti informed the MPs that the Ministry of Defense is focusing on the revitalization of the military industry and for this reason it has been submitted for public consultation and the relevant law.

“Regarding the future of the combine, the Ministry of Defense has undertaken a legal initiative for the revitalization of the military factories.
