TIRANA, Feb 27 /ATA/ The Job Fair will be held in Athens on Sunday March 12 with Albanian entrepreneurs and businesses that will be available for Albanians there.
The Job Fair “Work and Live Where Your Heart Is” will also be attended by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his “Sy m’sy” segment, outlined the job fair project, emphasizing that it will be ongoing and will become a tradition during his fourth term of office.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that his fourth term would guarantee more support for immigrants in Greece, marking a positive beginning. He invited Albanians to return to work and invest, but also respected their choice to remain in the neighboring country if they wished.

The Prime Minister emphasized that these job fairs will become a tradition during his fourth term, as he aims to connect the EU accession negotiation process with the process of encouraging people to return and invest in Albania.
“We have a major fair in Athens on March 2nd coming up, a long day packed with activities, where we aim to directly link up many Albanian companies from Albania in construction, tourism, and innovation with our fellow citizens in Athens. All the materials will then be available on an online website where everyone can access and check out the opportunities, and sign work contracts in Albania, whether for tourism or year-round work in various fields,” said Rama.

“The challenge is to dispel the stereotype that wages in Albania are very low and opportunities are limited. We need to dispel this stereotype with concrete facts and clear data that are accessible, where people can see contract models and terms,” emphasized Rama.

“I believe it will be a positive start. Of course, this is just the first step. These job fairs will become a tradition in the months and years of the fourth term because we will link the entire negotiation process for membership with the process of encouraging people to return to invest or work here in Albania. When I talk about return, I don’t just mean packing up and returning permanently, but I also mean return in stages. In all cases, it will be a mutual benefit, both for those who return and for those who invest their savings here,” said Rama.

In a phone intervention, the Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, informed that the fair will feature Albanian agencies and institutions specialized in employment.
