Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Arjan Jaupllari reacted in this way to the statement made on Sunday by the General Secretary of the Freedom Party Tedi Blushi who said that, “Agriculture in Albania is in a disastrous situation because the Socialist “Revival “has no plan and gives almost zero support for it.”

Jaupllari emphasized that, “Quite the contrary. Agriculture has recognized the right orientation and an increase in the budget from year to year, marking the largest increase in 2022 of 5.1 billion Lekë. This is only through the National Support Scheme which is financed from the state budget”.

According to him, financial support has also included the successful realization of programs financed by the EU and the Albanian government, such as IPARD II.

“Albania is among the first countries in the region to successfully implement the IPARD program and the IPARD III Program in Albania will finance 146 million euros, or 50% more funding than IPARD II in support of investments for the development of agriculture and rural areas.”

Likewise, large investments have been made in rural infrastructure, where we would single out those for irrigation and drainage, flood protection, rural roads, etc.

The government has also made available the online application for the farmers while they issue zero documents and pay no fees. Today, through the transparency system, farmers are sure that they cannot be replaced by anyone in the ranking of profitability. /r.e/p.s./
