Mr. TAKADA Mitsuyuki handed over ten new Japanese TV programs to the Director General of RTSH, Mr. Thoma Gëllçi, at the handover ceremony held at the premises of the RTSH Headquarters. These television programs were donated by Japan Foundation, as part of a supporting program aimed at assisting TV stations overseas in broadcasting Japanese TV programs, and introducing abroad the Japanese culture and society.

In his remarks on the occasion, Ambassador TAKADA expressed his wishes that the Albanian audience would enjoy the Japanese TV programs that will be aired soon and would be able to learn more about the Japanese Culture through them.

On his part, the Director General of RTSH Mr. Thoma Gëllçi expressed his appreciation to Ambassador TAKADA and Japan Foundation for the support to the public television and expressed his wish to further cooperate with these institutions in the future.

The TV programs received today by RTSH include some animation series (such as “Astro Boy”, “Okko’s Inn”), some documentary series (such as “Peace Nippon”, “Made in Kyoto”) and some Japanese movies. During 2019-2020, several other Japanese television animations and documentaries such as ”Explore Japan”, “Princess Jellyfish” and “Phoenix” have been successfully broadcast at RTSH 1. All the Japanese TV series are dubbed in Albanian, in an excellent quality.
