The agreement is designed to help AIC in adopting best and most effective organizational models, as well as in strengthening skills and competencies in development and revitalization of public assets and properties in Albania.

The Memorandum of Understanding signed by the CEO of the Albanian Investment Corporation Elira Kokona and the Director of the Italian State Property Agency Alessandra dal Verme aims to provide qualified assistance in building a governance model and a legal framework for public real estate management in Albania, sharing innovative procedures and projects with the aim of promoting development and economic growth.

Defining the governance model for real estate, developing a technical assistance program for management processes and areas, cooperation to increase capacities and developing intervention strategies are the lines of action provided by the institutional cooperation agreement.

Under the agreement, AIC and the Italian State Property Agency will exchange the most effective, innovative and sustainable strategic planning knowhow, models and processes for the assessment and regeneration of public real estate assets.
