The municipal teams have been engaged in the cleaning of the irrigation collectors in the agricultural lands, in the administrative units of Lunxhëri, Cepo, Odrie, etc.

There are about 6 km of linear irrigation canals and intake works, which have been intervened in recent days.

“Intervention work has been carried out on the linear irrigation system 6 km in length over the past days,” the mayor of Gjirokastra, Flamur Golemi told the Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA).

The municipality of Gjirokastra has carried out work on the rehabilitation of 6 artificial lakes, ensuring irrigation of planted areas in summer season. //a.i/
