In his remarks, Minister Çuçi said that “taking into account the global measures to block movement due to the pandemic and the broader picture on migration flows decline, Albania border situation has remained relatively stable.”

“This is thanks to the level of professional training of our Border Police, the joint operation with FRONTEX, as well as the increased cooperation with neighboring countries. Today, Albania is one of the countries with the highest standards in migration management in the region,” Minister Çuçi said.

“Through joint efforts and mutual support Albania will succeed in managing migration, as we pledged under the ‘2030 Agenda’ for Sustainable Development, to cooperate internationally and facilitate irregular migration and address all aspects of international migration,” Çuçi added. //a.i/
