IQC in its decision dated December 23, 2021 barred the appointment of Selami Zalli as a judge or prosecutor of any level, member of the High Prosecution Council, High Inspector of Justice or Attorney General for a period of 15 years.

The press release of SAC reads that, “the trial panel of the Special Appellate College, composed of Natasha Mulaj presiding, Ina Rama rapporteur, Albana Shtylla, Mimoza Tasi, Sokol Çomo members, handed down the decision on the case, related to the appeal of subject of re-evaluation Selami Zalli against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission.

In the deliberation room, the trial panel, by a majority of votes, decided to uphold the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission on the subject of re-evaluation Selami Zalli. /j.p/sm/
