We should all watch closely what happens next. Will the response be to show courage & integrity to deliver justice or, as we have seen too often in the past, to divert efforts by attacking the vetting process & slandering international monitors?”, said Kim.

The International Monitoring Operation (IOM) recommended to the Public Commissioners to appeal the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission (IQC) for the confirmation in office of Prosecutor Elizabeta Imeraj, who currently heads Tirana Prosecutor’s Office.

The IOM recommendation comes after the Independent Qualification Commission posted the decision for Elisabeta Imeraj, which is evaluated positive in all three criteria and confirmed in office./j.p/p.s./
