Vata/ The Public Commissioner, within the legal time frame, filed an appeal with the Special Appellate College close to Constitutional Court against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission on the subject of re-evaluation, Elbana Lluri, judge in Tirana’s Court of Appeals.

The Public Commissioner, based on its constitutional and legal competence, and after assessing the recommendation of the International Monitoring Operation (IOM), finds that after the review of the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission and its accompanying acts, legal and factual circumstances arise that make the decision vulnerable in its entirety.

The Public Commissioner requests that the reasons for the appeal be considered by the Special Appellate College and, once the College itself conducts a full investigation and evaluation of the results of the administrative investigation for the subject of the re-evaluation, it will decide, alternatively, upholding the decision no. 342, dated 2.2.2021, of the Independent Qualification Commission, or overturning it.
