In today’s plenary session, parliament did not pass the Normative Act for the financial compensation of the price for some construction materials, according to the provisions set out in the public work contracts due to the unprecedented situation created in the market during 2022. The Assembly decided to postpone it for another session, with the consent of the MPs present in the hall.

Also, the adoption of the activity report of the Public Procurement Commission for 2021 was postponed for the next session.

Regarding the next item on the agenda, the annual activity report of the Department of Public Administration for 2021, it was the subject of a debate requested by the chairman of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj.

MP Klotilda Bushka, in her remarks, said that 7 out of 10 recommendations have been implemented, while 3 of them are in the process. This draft resolution was approved with 69 votes in favor.

Parliament elected 2 new members of the Competition Commission, Leida Matjen, with 105 votes in favor, and Durim Kraja, with 118 votes in favor.
