TIRANA, Sept  30  /ATA/ Albania has become an attractive country for foreign enterprises in an important sector of the country’s economy, thanks to fiscal incentives and the launch of strategic projects.

Along with many foreign countries, Albania remains a very attractive country for German business, which has significantly increased investments in the last year.

For the second year in a row, statistics show a significant increase in German investment.

The Bank of Albania announces that German investments have increased in the first 6 months of this year to 59 million euros, from only 21 million euros in the same period last year.

According to BoA, German investments have increased 210% as compared to the same period last year.

German enterprises are concentrated in the sectors of energy, tourism and environment.

Germany is collaborating with the Albanian government to promote the development of a sustainable market economy from a social and ecological point of view. Since 1988, Germany has contributed funds amounting to over 1 billion euros, which makes it one of Albania’s most important donors in bilateral relations.
