Imagine, Prime Minister said, what a transformation this country will see, after restoring the legitimacy in our electricity production and distribution network.

“After this step, we want to take Albania to another level, by building the Skavica HPP, developing the liquefied natural gas project in Vlora thermo power station as part of a memorandum of understanding with the US and two large solar parks, in Karavasta and another one for which the contract is in process of negotiations with the prestigious French company Voltalia,” Prime Minister said.

These investments, Rama pointed out, will wean the country from dependence on electricity imports.

“On the contrary, we will export tens of millions of energy. Net exporter of electricity means a resilient and self-reliant home with more income opportunities for everyone,” he said.
