TIRANA, Jan  27  /ATA/ Mirdita Hospital is being transformed thanks to a new investment.

Prime Minister Edi Rama on Friday shared images showing how this hospital used to be and how it will look after the revamp.

The “Shenjta Mari” ( Saint Mary) Hospital, the Directorate of Public Service, the kindergarten and the nursery, as well as the buildings damaged by the devastating November 26, 2019 earthquake in the Rrëshen administrative unit, Mirdita municipality will be built and repaired with the funds of the Reconstruction Program.

 

“The Council of Ministers decided to use the reconstruction fund to finance the reconstruction of the buildings, the “Shenjta Mari” hospital and the Directorate of Public Health (former Infectious Disease Hospital), Rrëshen administrative unit, Mirdita municipality, in the amount of 413 452 654 (four hundred and thirteen million four hundred and fifty-two thousand six hundred and fifty-four lek without VAT,” according to a decision of the Council of Ministers dated February 9, 2022.
