TIRANA, Aug  25 /ATA/ The net asset value of investment funds reached 71.24 billion ALL at the end of June this year, recording a decrease of 6,448 million ALL or 8.30%, compared to the end of 2021.

Experts explain that the decline in the value of net assets is related to interest rates in the market.

Referring to the report published by the Financial Supervisory Authority (AMF), the market is mainly dominated by investments in government securities, which constitute 66.31% of the funds’ assets, with a decrease of 4.77% compared to 31.12.2021.

In addition to the value of assets, the number of members also decreased during this period. The data show that the number of members who have invested in investment funds until the end of June is 39,856 with a decline of 0.49% compared to the end of December 2021.

During the period January-June 2022, eleven investment funds exercised their activity in the market of investment funds.
