TIRAN, Feb 18 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama invited the public to read him in an interview with the magazine “Newsbomb.al” for journalist and publisher Anila Basha.

Rama said that Basha had persistently asked him to give an interview for her magazine Newsbomb.al.

“Appreciating the passion to keep up with the print magazine, at a time when all media seem to be adapting to online trend, I accepted the interview, without actually knowing how much she would engage me with her one hundred questions. Fortunately, February’s unusually frequent travels helped me keep my word by using the time in the air to write in my mobile phone’s notepad,” Rama wrote on his social media account.

“Maybe, who knows, you’ll make time to read me in a format that I have not explored for a long time where I’ve tried to speak candidly on a lot of things I’ve been asked, taking advantage of the opportunity that writing gives beyond the simplistic communication constraints that on screen interviews compel,” said Rama.

He emphasized that on the eve of February 20, when the print magazine issue goes on the market for its readers, “I thought it would be a good idea to share this note with you, perhaps also as a sense of nostalgia for the past without mobile phones and social networks, which, in their “poverty” of communication opportunities, preserved much more the importance of the written word, as well as protected much better the wealth of our wonderful Albanian language from the barbarism of this Internet era, which as Umberto Eco said , “gives the same right to speak to a Nobel Prize and to someone who, until yesterday, spoke only in the club after getting drunk, until others shut him up.”
