The Ministry of State for Local Government and the University of Tirana signed on Friday an agreement that will help students serve internships in the municipalities of the country.

“The agreement with the University of Tirana will enable students to serve internships in the municipalities of the country. They will get more familiar with the daily affairs of local government units. At the same time, the resources of the University will help the government with research in different social fields”, said Minister Arbjan Mazniku.

Under the agreement, the University of Tirana will assign students wanting to perform internships in local government units.

Municipalities will set quotas for students who want to perform the internships near them and cover their costs.
