In attendance were also Deputy Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Olta Manjani and the head of the institution Astrit Hado.

In her remarks, Manjani put the emphasis on improvement of financial performance, the sustainability of the social insurance scheme, as well as the application of innovative solutions to significantly improve the provision of services to citizens.

According to her, the salary reform, which is being implemented by the Albanian government, has delivered impact on the significant improvement of the financial sustainability of the pension scheme.
According to ISSH data, for the first time the deficit of the scheme fell below 1% of GDP even in absolute value. On the other hand, the number of contributors also increased by 3.6% or by 27,521 people, compared to 2022.
