According to the report on accommodation structures, in the first two months of the year, the country was visited by 142,000 non-resident visitors, marking a 38% year-on-year increase.

According to INSTAT, in February 2025 the majority of non-resident visitors who stayed in accommodation facilities in Albania came from Italy (22%), Kosovo (16%), and Germany (7%). Visitors from the United Kingdom and France accounted for 6% and 4%, respectively, while 45% came from other countries.

These figures reflect the growing trend of inbound tourism from key regional and European markets. The hotel room occupancy rate reached 16.5%, compared to 16.7% in February 2024.

In February 2025, accommodation structures recorded a significant increase in both the number of visitors and overnight stays compared to the same month of the previous year.

Total number of visitors increased by 29.9%, with non-resident visitors rising by 32.2% and resident visitors by 26.4%. Total overnight stays grew by 34.2%, including a 35.4% increase among non-residents and a 32.0% rise among residents. /j.p/sm/
