According to data published by the Bank of Albania, foreign investments increased by 3.6% in the second quarter of this year.

“The financial account recorded net inflows of 325.6 million euros, an increase of approximately 277.5 million euros compared to the previous year,” emphasizes the Bank of Albania.

The inflows of direct investments for this quarter have been concentrated in the real estate, energy, financial services and insurance, extractive, and manufacturing industries.

The annual increase in inflows has primarily been observed in the manufacturing, energy, and real estate sectors, while the contribution of the extractive industry and financial and insurance activities shows a negative trend on an annual basis.
