Foreign Minister invited Indian companies to see Albania as a great investment opportunity and closely explore fresh opportunities for investment, business, trade and partnership.

Hasani also noted that India represents a huge potential for Albania and the strengthening the alliance between the two countries is considered of high interest, in terms of economic and geostrategic aspects.

During his visit to New Delhi, Foreign Minister Hasani is accompanied by a delegation of Tirana Chamber of Industry and Commerce, involving entrepreneurs operating in the country’s textile, meat processing sector, paper and plastic manufacturing, trade of food and industrial goods etc.

Hasani’s visit to India is a strong indicator of the friendly relations that exist between Albania and India and its aim is to strengthen this traditional friendship.

India is an important trading partner for Albania and the fourth biggest supplier of the Albanian market. Albania’s trade exchanges with India rose 24.9% year-on-year in 2023.
