TIRANA, July  4 /ATA/ The United States of America celebrates on Tuesday the 247th anniversary of the declaration of independence.

Prime Minister Edi Rama wished a Happy Independence Day to the USA, while sharing on social media a photo album featuring yesterday’s visit to Tirana by the 42nd President of the USA, Bill Clinton.

“Happy 4th of July America. GOD BLESS YOU!”, writes Rama.

On July 4, 1776, delegates from the 13 British American colonies signed the Declaration of Independence, which is said to be the cause of the American Revolution.

The Declaration of Independence is seen as one of the most important documents in the history of the United States. The other document is the Constitution.

In the United States, July 4 is celebrated every year as a national day, Independence Day.
