Prime Minister Edi Rama shared Monday on social media the opinions of one of them, who has chosen the beach of Dhërmi to rest.

“We Italians spend holidays in Albania, better than in Italy,” Rama writes, alongside the video.

The Italian tourist says he has been in Dhermi for 3 days, while speaking highly of the country and the people.

“So far so good, people are sociable. Italians are treated very well, almost everyone speaks Italian and prices are reasonable. Yesterday I ate out in Dhërmi in a very nice restaurant by the sea. “We ate fish and we paid 300 euros and drank two bottles of champagne” he said.

The Italian tourist also drew attention to safety.

“People are very kind. You can walk quietly with 30,000 euros in the pocket, and nobody tells you anything. Unbothered by the fact that the car is left open. We feel that they love and appreciate us” he said.

“Your country is amazing, you should not envy us the Sardinian Sea at all. There are plenty of places for night life, plenty of bars and beautiful places where you can safely move around as if you were in Italy, even better than in Italy.”
