According to data published by INSTAT, the decline is attributable to the category “chemical and plastic products” and mostly to the decline in imports of chemical fertilizers, which are mainly imported from Ukraine.

On the other hand, those products that impact both consumption and are close substitutes, but also as raw materials for industry, have recorded an increase in volume.

Meanwhile, imports reached ALL 285 billion in value, driven by soaring prices due to the energy crisis and Russian aggression in Ukraine.
