In his remarks, Minister Çuçi reiterated that, the control of the territory is one of the main priorities of the government, therefore it will be invested in high-tech equipment.

Çuçi asked the leaders of National Inspectorate of Territorial Defense to continue work on demolition of illegal buildings.

“IKMT is one of the most important agencies. This is why it was decided to be under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior because we want a strong response structure on the ground to control the territory, and identify the illegal buildings and damage to the environment,” Çuçi said.

The Minister of Interior also requested a better cooperation between IKMT and the State Police when it comes to the control of the territory and in particular the inspection of the new constructions that are being carried out. //a.i/

The Minister of Interior, Bledi Çuçi emphasized today that, during this month “Our Coast” operation has been carried out in the municipalities of Vlora, Himara and Saranda. Meanwhile, in the first days of October, National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection-IKMT diggers have been deployed to other areas of the coast.”

In his remarks, Minister Çuçi added that, we are not dealing with an action, but it is an ongoing work to exercise better control of the territory and to free our common property from the occupiers.

“The National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection (IKMT) is moving forward with the “Our Coast” operation. In September alone, when this operation resumed after being suspended due to summer tourist season, have been demolished over 60 buildings built without a permit or in flagrant violation of the building permit in the municipalities of Vlora, Himara and Saranda,” he said.

“We will free the entire territory of the country, the coastline from the occupiers who must learn once and for all that the time has passed when one does just as he pleases under the nose of the State. IKMT and the State Police in cooperation with the other institutions are working to identify illegal objects in protected areas and national road axes, which will be demolished without the slightest hesitation,” Çuçi concluded.  //a.i/
