According to the decision, the electricity price for small electrical energy plants remains 10 lek/kWh.

Based on the average price of the Hungarian electricity exchange (HUPX), as well as the coefficients and other elements, the selling price (ALL per kWh) was 14.49 lekë. However, ERE decided that this price is higher than the maximum price rate and the regulator decided to set a price of 10 lek/kWh.

The energy regulator argued that this electricity price can be revised once the annual report Hungarian electricity exchange report on the average price is published and the fixed exchange rate of the Bank of Albania at the end of the year.
