According to the report published by INSTAT, the annual change of the Construction Cost Index in the fourth quarter of 2023 is 4.1%, while a year ago this change was 7%.
Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the biggest price increase is observed in the “energy expenses” group with 9%, followed by the “salary expenses” with 4.5%, “transportation expenses” and “other costs” groups, respectively with 3.9% each, “material expenses” with 3.3% and “machinery expenses” with 1.5%.

Within the group “material expenses”, the index of the sub-group “hydro sanitary and ventilation materials” recorded the highest growth of 4.4%, followed by the groups “construction materials” with 3.4% and “electrical and communication materials” with 2.1%.
