TIRANA, Dec 10 /ATA/ Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Reconstruction, Arben Ahmetaj stated on Friday that until the fall of 2022 there will be no trace left of the devastating November 26, 2019 earthquake.

Ahmetaj was in Kombinat, Tirana where he attended the opening ceremony of the school and kindergarten “Lasgush Poradeci”, which offers optimal learning conditions and facilities to 1200 students and 120 children.

“Every school we build is a strong pillar for the future of the country, a strong pillar in the field of knowledge for Albania 2030. Today 60 schools have completed and 168 more are nearing completion.”

Ahmetaj stressed that until the fall of 2022 there will be no trace of the November 26, 2019 earthquake.

“We are building 11,000 apartments and 4,500 housing units. 1,500 families have already moved into stronger and most modern houses, and by the end of the year, another 1,200 families will be housed. “Until the autumn of 2022, there will be no trace left of the November 26, 2019 earthquake,” Ahmetaj said.
