The news was announced by the mayor of Berat, Ervin Demo.

The house of the Qako family, built in the 18th century, is a museum. It sits in the characteristic neighborhood of Gorica and features carved wooden ceilings and an impressive architecture.

The frescoes inside the house are its added value.

Local and foreign visitors are welcome every day to enjoy the hospitality of Berat and taste the hand-made jam.

“The Museum House “Qako” considers everyone on the doorstep of centuries-old house to be a friend,” Demo writes on his social media account.
