Denaj said that, in addition to support for livestock registration, the government, through the National Agriculture Support Scheme, subsidizes all livestock farmers for breeding cattle and ruminants.

“We address 100% support to livestock farmers for the measure of support for the basic matriculated herd of cows and for the measure of support for the matriculated basic herd of sheep/goats”, said Denaj.
According to her, this year, with the addition to the budget for the National Agriculture Support Scheme, 2,950 livestock farmers for 60,661 cows and 4,678 livestock farmers for 909,322 sheep/goats received 100% of the funding.
