Prime Minister Edi Rama informed on Wednesday that “91,380 children have benefited the baby subsidy since 2019, when the universal newborn support program was launched.”

Rama added that entitled to the baby bonus are all children registered in Albania, regardless of whether they were born here or abroad.

“Good morning and with the good news that 20,000 children born in the first half of the year have benefited the baby bonus, with 40,000 ALL for the first child, 80,000 ALL for the second child and 120,000 ALL for the third child, regardless of whether they have born in Albania or abroad, but registered in the home country, I wish you a good day, ” said Rama.

The baby bonus is a new social policy that is being implemented by the government from January 1, 2019 and supports young families regardless of socio-economic status./m.m/sm/
