TIRANA, Feb  27 /ATA/ – By  I. Vata/ The rehabilitation of the health center in Lekbibaj, Tropoja has been completed enabling better services for residents.

Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, shared images of the rehabilitated center, noting that with its completion, the number of rehabilitated centers in the whole country goes up to  340.

Manastirliu emphasized that this year another 60 health centers will be rehabilitated, putting their number at 400 rehabilitated centers that will serve the citizens.

“With another 60 health centers set to be rehabilitated this year, they go to 400 primary care centers with revamped infrastructure, which offer medical services up to the standards,” Manastirliu writes.

The Program of Health Centers and Outpatient Clinics rehabilitation has started the second phase, while in its first phase 300 health centers and outpatient clinics have been reconstructed throughout the country. /j.p/sm/

TIRANA, Jan  9 /ATA/ Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, informed on Monday that another 40 health centers will soon be at the service of the community from north to south.

Manastirliu emphasized that “since the launch of the national program for the rehabilitation of primary healthcare centers, 340 health centers and outpatient clinics have been built back up to the standards, serving 1.2 million citizens.”

In a post on social media, Manastirliu shared images of the work for the construction of health centers in different cities.

As part of the program for health center and outpatient clinic rehabilitation, another 60 health centers and outpatient clinics will be reconstructed in 2023, bringing them to 400 health centers and outpatient clinics rehabilitated since the launch of this program.

TIRANA, Aug  15  /ATA/ The Orikum Health Center will be rehabilitated as part of the program of 300 health centers, which continues this year with 40 more centers, from north to south. Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, visited the health center of Orikum, saying that its new phase entails construction of infrastructure  up to European standards.

“And this year there are more than 40 health centers, which will be rehabilitated from north to south. We move ahead with our health center rehabilitation program, after the completion of more than 300 health centers in these years. We have moved to a new phase, which will ensure that entire infrastructure of the health centers will be up to European standards, just as we have already finalized the first program,” said Manastirliu.

Speaking about the Orikum health center, Manastirliu said that it will provide health services for 11,000 residents, but also for vacationers and tourists.

“I am very pleased to be in this center today, which will be part of this project. The works will kick off to guarantee more quality services, even more access for all the residents of Orikum. There are more than 11,000 residents who receive services at this center. But also for vacationers, foreign tourists, who receive services,” said Manastirliu.

The Albanian government has completed the first phase of the Health Center and Outpatient clinic rehabilitation program with 300 rehabilitated and reconstructed health centers, while this program will continue with other health centers that will be reconstructed and rehabilitated, with the aim of completing the rehabilitation of all health centers in the country. /j.p/sm/

Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, accompanied by the Mayor of Fier, Armando Subashi, inspected the works on this health center.

“Finally, the new health center in Fier is becoming a reality as part of the program of 300 health centers. The works have advanced and I believe that in September-October the whole infrastructure will be completed. We will continue with the furnishing of this facility before opening the doors to 35 thousand inhabitants,” – stressed Manastirliu.

Minister Manastirliu said that “we have managed to provide quality service to 1.2 million citizens, but we will work uninterruptedly to complete all health centres and outpatient clinics in the third term to bring them up to these standards as these 300 health centers and outpatient clinics that were refurbished to offer quality medical service to our citizens.

According to her, another 10 centres of family medicine will be built.

“As part of 10- year plan for improvement of primary health care and modernization of healthcare all over the country, we will build 10 centres of family medicine, introducing new dedicated services,” Manastirliu said.

Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, has inspected the new Health Center in Sukth – Katund i Ri, rehabilitated under the Program of 300 Health Centers, which serves 4 thousand inhabitants of this area.

“After upgrading the infrastructure of 300 health centers, we will continue with the care and support for the groups in need, turning the health centers into centers that provide socio-health service and care,” the Minister said.

“It is a critical juncture, it is a moment that requires a lot of commitment. And we should not let the guard down, because, despite the fact that we have started the vaccination and are already completing the inoculation of medical staff and extended to the age group +80 years, extreme caution and strict adherence to the practices should continue,” Manastirliu said.

Under the program of 300 health centres, 20 centres and outpatient clinics in the region of Durres, both in the center and outlying areas, have been rehabilitated up to the standards.
