Significant investment is being made in the rehabilitation of the health center ‘Povelçë’ in Dërmënas, aimed at improving the health infrastructure.

The mayor of Fier, Armando Subashi shared today on the social media images from the investment, which according to him, aims at providing high quality care and service to residents of the area.

In his remarks, Balla said that, “the reconstruction of this Health Center comes in the light of the National Program “100 New Health Centers”, funded by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.”

“Health Center in Belsh offers medical service for 14000 inhabitants as well as 24-hour emergency service for 33000 inhabitants of the municipality; vaccination service, check up, outpatient treatment etc. But the poor conditions of this building made it almost impossible to provide a dignified health service. Following the reconstruction of this Health Center, the residents of Belsh will no longer have to travel to Elbasan or Tirana to get medical service of good quality,” Balla said. //a.i/
