In his closing remarks, Minister Hasani first highlighted the fact that “Confindustria Albania” has been a key partner from the very beginning in promoting the relations between Albania and Italy, providing support for the economic cooperation between our two countries.

“This cooperation is invaluable to us, and we will continue to support it with great enthusiasm. It is a commitment that requires close collaboration with our partners, with Italy playing an exceptional role. After two decades of strong relations, Italy remains one of the largest investors in Albania and a key strategic ally in Albania’s EU integration process,” he stated.

Minister Hasani said that Albania is now at the most pivotal point in its European journey, with the objective of opening all clusters by the end of this year, concluding negotiations by 2027, and with a clear vision of joining the European family of values before 2030.
He remarked, “EU membership presents an opportunity to better position ourselves in the global landscape and unleash our economic potential. However, this opportunity will not come automatically. We must collaborate closely with the private sector to foster an environment of investment and innovation that can transform our economy. The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEFA) plays a key role in promoting exports and attracting strategic investors.”

Minister Hasani also highlighted one of the key priorities of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEFA), which is supporting initiatives that connect local businesses with the Albanian diaspora.
“The Albanian diaspora is an extraordinary asset with the potential to play a key role in the economic development and expansion of Albania’s international connections. It is one of the main priorities of our policies. The Albanian diaspora, especially the large community living in Italy, holds exceptional potential to contribute to the growth of the Albanian economy. Here, I firmly believe that it is an invaluable asset that must be strategically utilized,” said the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani.
