TIRANA, May 12/ATA/ Students at Harvard University can now choose to study the Albanian language for the first time as an elective subject.

Albania’s Education Minister Evis Kushi stated that, “Our Albanian language, one of the oldest in the world, an official language in three countries, will now be an elective course at Harvard University in all three levels (elementary knowledge, intermediary knowledge, and advanced level)”.

Kushi held in high esteem and praised the Albanian professors at the Harvard, Faton Limani and Eva Stathi Misho for this patriotic initiative.

“This will further consolidate the position that the Albanian language has among other languages of the world, but it will also be an excellent opportunity for foreigners who are passionate about learning more about our language and culture,” said Kushi. /a.a/p.s./
