TIRANA, May 12/ATA/ Ambassador of Albania to Greece Luela Hajdaraga appreciated the meeting of Prime Minister Edi Rama with the Albanian community in Athens as “historic”.

Hajdaraga said that it was the largest assembly of the Albanian Diaspora.

“From this hall, where there are focused the eyes of our compatriots, we convey waves of love towards our homeland and join the “Proud of Albania” mission”, she said.

According to Ambassador Hajdaraga, this journey could not have started more emotionally than from Greece, the country that received with open arms and became a warm shelter for the largest community outside the borders.

And Albanians, she said, know how to be grateful and appreciate.

“Therefore, their work in these decades in Greece has elevated the name of the Albanian to the highest levels. The arrival of the Albanian prime minister in Athens is a continuous attention to the Albanian community in Greece and a historic day”, stated Hajdaraga.

The Albanian ambassador to Greece added: “So, let’s use this occasion as another opportunity to further re-energize this unique relationship between Albanians wherever they are. A relationship that is fueled by the pure intention to elevate Albania high believing that dreams materialize when we are all together”./r.e/p.s./
