In a statement on social media on Sunday, Berisha described the attacks as acts of outright aggression.

According to him, “Teheran’s autocratic regime has chosen as a survival strategy a reckless aggression against the countries of the Persian Gulf: Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain.”

“The Democratic Party expresses full solidarity with these friendly countries and strongly condemns the attacks by the ayatollah regime against them as a clear act of aggression,” Berisha said.

After Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s killing, Iranian warplanes have bombed U.S. bases in the Middle East.
