“The most fantastic thing about this project is the stairs that make it very easy to climb, it’s not the uphill that epitomizes the impossibility of reaching the top. From that shell of the Pyramid that was created for the cult of one man, it is now the ‘back’ that holds all these people today. The ‘back’ of this Pyramid will get into the Guinness book of records because it will house millions, millions of people in its lifecycle. I don’t believe that there will be another building in the world, which works like all buildings with activities taking place inside, but whose back can hold I don’t know how many millions and millions of people. So that the citizens of Tirana, the Albanians who live here, in Kosovo and everywhere else, can enjoy it. The hub will resonate beyond our borders, we will have room for others as well. It is the largest regional hub in terms of its power and will become the largest regional center in terms of its activity,” said Rama.

He added: “This is one of my most intense dreams that has come true today. Little by little we have come to the idea that this should be a space for everyone. And here we are today thanks to an intense and very productive collaboration, the work speaks for itself, with the municipality and the American Development Fund, which has brought us to this visionary project. The next challenge is populating it with all the activities related to start-ups, the digital world, the children, the young people and development. But definitely this should be a space for the elderly either. I am sure that Erion Veliaj and his team will manage this second phase in the best way possible.”
