TIRANA, November 11/ATA/ Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku inspected the investments in the electrical substation of Lushnja, which guarantee energy security and supply within all parameters for subscribers.

Balluku said that thanks to the investments made, the efficiency of the energy sector has improved, as the level of losses has decreased to 19% from 45% in 2013.

According to her, this was one of the factors that favored the government to support every Albanian family and small business in this time of crisis.

“We have not increased the price of electricity neither for family consumers nor for small businesses. Meanwhile, we have been discussing for some time how we can help large businesses that are in the free market, due to the EU directive and that today face stratospheric prices, where they have to buy energy up to 60 lekë per kilowatt. , said the deputy prime minister

Meanwhile, Balluku announced that there will be no restrictions on energy supply. /j.p/p.s./

TIRANA, March 24/ATA/ Thanks to the investments made by the Albanian government in the energy sector, the technical losses in the grid have been reduced.

Prime Minister Edi Rama put a question to his followers on instastory on the social network Instagram, in the section “100 days, 100 accomplishments” on how much are the technical losses in the energy network today, 45% or 20%.

PM Rama emphasized that, “Today, the technical losses in the energy network have decreased by 20% from 45% in 2013”.

A few days ago, PM Rama stated that the goal of the government he leads at the end of the third term is to reduce to 10% the losses in the electricity distribution network.

The level of losses from 45% in 2013, dropped to 21.7% at the end of 2019, while the level of receipts in this time frame has almost doubled.

Compared to 2018, network losses fell by 2.2%.

In 2013, OSHEE managed to collect only 38% of the energy consumed, while today this figure marks 65% of the energy distributed in the network. /a.a/p.s./
