The head of the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency (ARDA), Frida Krifca said that, “Albania has started export of table grapes”.

Thanks to ARDA support, through the IPARD program, farmers have expanded investments in vineyards.

They are also growing table grapes in greenhouses, which are significantly increasing production and doubling grape exports.

Under the IPARD II program farmers have been able to invest in the adoption of technology and improved agricultural mechanics, increasing production and significantly improving the standards of grape vine seedlings.

In her remarks, ARDA head Krifca emphasized that, “today the Made in Albania grapes are being exported to the European markets, thanks to a well-organized chain, between farmers-processors-sellers”. //a.i/
