TIRANA, Feb 1 /ATA/ The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Tirana announced on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia granted the Government of the Republic of Albania an amount of $50 million (fifty million dollars).

His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stated after his meeting today with Her Excellency the Minister of Finance and Economy, Mrs. Delina Ibrahimaj, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, that this non-repayable grant comes within the framework of the close relationship between the two countries and out of Kingdom’s keenness to stand by the Republic of Albania as an ally country and support its development in light of the current economic situation that Albania is going through due to the global energy crisis and inflationary pressures.

His Excellency the Ambassador also lauded the depth of the relations between the two countries and peoples, wishing the Republic of Albania more progress and prosperity.
