The white-and-blue club wished its goalkeeper a fast recovery in a message in social media.

“Get well soon Gentian Selmani! The white-and-blue team are waiting for you to put on the goalkeeper’s gloves again. Gentian Selmani suffered a fracture of the tibia and is expected to undergo surgical intervention as a way for the fastest recovery and return to the pitch!”, wrote the country’s runner-up club.

Gentian Selmani suffered a serious injury in Thursday’s match between “Tirana” and “Besiktas”. The goalkeeper left the field of play on a stretcher in the 32nd minute. The 25-year-old has to stay away from the pitch for some time. Now, the white-and-blue club is forced to enter the market to find a replacement for Selmani until the latter will be able to play again.

“Tirana” will start this early season with a veteran goalkeeper, Ilion Lika, 43 years old, as well as two academy goalkeepers, 20-year-old Leon Kozi and 18-year-old Tomas Kiri. /p.s./
