According to the Directorate, to have dark rear windscreens of the vehicles, the owners  should perform the procedures with materials approved by the manufacturer and installed them by licensed service centers, in accordance with the documentation that proves the original warranty.

State laws regulate the level of darkness permitted for auto glass tinting. Window tint laws are created as a safety issue for drivers to see other vehicles.

The Directorate said that any vehicle which circulates with tinted windows in violation of the norms without certification or which have a higher level of darkening after certification, is subject to administrative measures by the Traffic Police as well as subject to penalties up to the loss of the right to darken the auto glasses./p.s./
