TIRANA, Feb 16 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Thursday that he will be less involved in what he described as “the politics of daily gibberish.”

In reply to the question why he does not go to parliament, Rama said: “I have said it before this mess started at the beginning of the year that I will be much more focused on daily work and will be less involved in the politics of daily gibberish. In the meantime, I want to say that I have been engaged with great zeal and all the fervor for years in that parliament as well, but I believe that unintentionally I have also become part of something that is a great trouble and a great concern for the whole public. I also feel complicit in this. Complicit in that whole scene, which is far from being worthy of those who give us their trust. And that’s why I’m no longer available to jump in and out of everyday politics like an election campaign. In the electoral campaign, you don’t choose who you face and you will have to fight any way,” said Rama.

“Meanwhile, on the other days of my life, of the week and the month, my commitment will be completely different to at least wipe that stain of complicity for all that degradation and degeneration that the Albanians do not deserve,” emphasized Rama.

Rama added that, “I don’t decide how the opposition will behave, but I decide how I should behave myself.”
Further, Rama added that, “I will go to the parliament when I see fit. When I see fit, I will go to the parliament”.
