The Ambassador of Switzerland to our country, Ruth Huber, signed an agreement with the director of GIZ Albania, Sonja Kurz, on the project which will work to increase income and employment in rural areas by supporting the agri-food sector.

“We are happy to join the German Agency for International Cooperation GIZ by contributing 4.2 million euros to the Sustainable Rural Development project,” said Huber, sharing photos from the moment of signing the agreement on social media.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has put a special emphasis on the support of small farmers, small and very small entrepreneurs who operate in the field of agriculture, agritourism or other rural sectors, where it is expected to address the contribution of donors as an added value for reinvigorating this rural grouping. /j.p/sm/
