Foreign Minister Gërvalla informed German Defence Minister Pistorius about the security situation in Kosovo and the region, Serbia’s continued threatening actions and the need to take swift and decisive actions to maintain the fragile peace in the region.

Gërvalla expressed gratitude to Germany’s Defence Minister for security cooperation and Germany’s assistance to Kosovo’s Security Force to build capacities. Expressing gratitude for contribution to the NATO-led peacekeeping force in Kosovo, Foreign Minister appealed for Germany’s stronger role in the region.

This meeting marks an important step towards deepening the cooperation between the two countries, creating opportunities for a safe and prosperous future in the region.
