The WHO announced that the two interlocutors highlighted the great efforts of Albanian health workers to meet the challenges of clinical management of COVID-19 cases and discussed the progress of the vaccination campaign.

Both sides praised the very important role of Albania and COVID 1 Hospital in contributing to the World Health Organization (WHO) Solidarity Trial for COVID-19 Treatments as an expression of Albanian solidarity.

The WHO also praised the essential role of Prof. Çomo as National Primary Scientific Director and member of the Steering Committee for the exchange of Albanian experience and expertise with the WHO COVID-19 Therapeutic Advisory Group. //a.i/
