“On International Women’s Day, we are committed to further increase gender budgeting programs, as a financial instrument for economic empowerment and its integration in society,” said Ibrahimaj.

The Minister emphasized that every year the funds for gender-based policies have increased, accounting for 9% of the total budget expenditures, or over 50 million ALL.

“A stronger woman in business, agriculture, vocational education, culture or science is one of the priorities of the Albanian government,” Ibrahimaj said.
